The Estoril Congress Center (ECC) has a projected investment of one million euros in sustainable growth initiatives. This investment has made it possible to be the first European congress center to receive the "Green Global Seal".

The restructuring of the ECC, en par with the objective of sustainable development planned by the Strategic Plan Green Destination 2007, made it possible to achieve a notable position compared to its European congeners.

Considering the sustainability vectors(social, economic; environmental and climatic), the ECC added to its concepts of "Corporate Social Responsibility" and "Corporate Environment Responsibility" a new view of the corporate world and a politic of corporate responsibility.
