From 16th May to 15th June, the 6th edition of ArteMar Estoril takes place, an open air exhibition promoting sculptural works that highlight the importance of the sea as a natural resource.
The pieces on display at the Passeio Marítimo do Estoril have a strong environmental message and are built using recycled, reused and/or recyclable material recovered mainly from beaches and the sea. At the end of the exhibition a winning artist will be chosen and awarded with a prize of €8,000. The artwork that receives the most votes from visitors to the exhibition will be given the Public Award and a prize of €1,000.
