From July 17-19, in a festive environment with test-drives, tuning, concerts, various contests, a volleyball tournament and brand stands, Baía de Cascais will be filled with color and excitement and more than 2,500 smart cars.

The highlight of the event will be the smart parade between the Autódromo do Estoril and Cascais, where the organization hopes to be included in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest parade of smart cars worldwide. The point where all drivers of smart vehicles are invited to join in the celebration!

“There is no city equal to Cascais, just as no two cars in the world are equal”.

Words by Annette Winkler, head of smart worldwide, who confirms the good choice for “smart community” when she voted for the destination of Cascais. Another argument that led to the choice of Cascais, was the fact that in Portugal, nearly 50,000 smart cars are circulating and in Lisbon, 1 in every 100 residents has a smart car.

During smart times, the town center is reserved for smart cars between the roundabouts of Jardim Visconde da Luz and the Cascais Cultural Center.
